Door to Door service
This custom 7 day advent calendar chocolate gift box combines a short countdown format with a windowed presentation. It is intended for chocolate brands planning a one-week seasonal assortment, a small gift collection or a limited promotional release. The seven-day concept keeps the opening sequence easy to explain while giving each day’s contents a defined place.
The window, internal layout and artwork need to work together. A clear view can introduce the assortment before opening, while numbered compartments guide the daily reveal. This page describes the packaging format; chocolates and other contents are not included in the packaging specification. Final construction should be agreed against your actual products and an approved sample.
| Format | Seven-day chocolate countdown gift packaging with window patching. |
|---|---|
| Internal layout | Compartment, drawer or tray arrangement to be confirmed around the wrapped contents. |
| Outer materials | Paperboard or rigid-board construction and wrap options, subject to the approved design. |
| Window | Opening size, shape and patch material specified with the front-panel artwork. |
| Branding | Custom artwork, logo, numbering and finish selection; discuss matte, gloss, foil or embossed details. |
| Quotation basis | Product dimensions, quantity, material, finish, packing method and delivery destination. |
Start with the largest wrapped chocolate and the number of pieces allocated to each day. Allow for the wrapper, any protective liner and the clearance needed to remove the contents. A cavity that fits an unwrapped sample may be too tight once the retail wrapping is added. Mixed assortments also need a layout that accommodates different shapes without leaving smaller pieces loose.
Choose the access method with the filling team. Separate drawers, divided trays and other compartment arrangements create different opening and assembly steps. The preferred design should make it clear where customers open each day and allow packers to check the sequence before closing the box. Confirm the layout on a physical sample rather than relying on a front-view illustration.

Window placement affects both the appearance and the remaining board around the opening. Decide whether the window should reveal an individual item, part of the assortment or an inner printed panel. Keep important numbers and logo details clear of cut edges, folds and areas covered by the patch. Review alignment on the structural sample before approving print.
Select the outer finish to match the artwork and handling conditions. A restrained logo with a focused foil detail can suit an understated gift presentation; a larger printed illustration may suit a festive retail collection. Compare physical finish samples where color, reflectivity or texture matters. Neither a photograph nor a screen proof fully represents these surfaces.
Chocolate protection also depends on the primary wrapping and transport conditions. The outer gift box is not a substitute for temperature-controlled handling or a suitable food-contact barrier. If any component will directly touch food, identify that use and the destination market when requesting the specification and supporting documentation. Do not assume every decorative board, ink, adhesive or window material is suitable for direct contact.
For retail, check that the front panel remains tidy after normal handling and that the calendar stands or sits as intended. For ecommerce, evaluate the gift box together with its shipping carton and cushioning. The retail presentation alone does not establish how the packed unit will perform in parcel delivery.
If your campaign needs a longer countdown, compare the available calendar box formats before committing to this seven-day layout. A different day count changes the internal arrangement and should be reviewed as a separate specification.
These are part of the custom design brief. Provide the desired display area and actual contents so the opening, board around it and internal support can be reviewed together. Final dimensions depend on the approved construction.
The layout can be planned around wrapped confectionery. Share the dimensions and weight of each format, including its wrapping, and identify how many pieces belong in each day. Confirm suitability through a packed sample.
Request a quotation for your specification. Quantity requirements and timing depend on the construction, materials, finish, sample approval and production schedule; this page does not state a fixed minimum or delivery promise.
Include the seven-day contents plan, wrapped item measurements, order quantity, artwork direction, desired finishes, destination and target arrival date. Add any filling-line or shipping constraints so they can be considered before the sample is developed.
